Here in Alaska we all anticipate spring, not for the grass and the flowers, but for the excitement that our abundance of snow might actually start to melt. We have no hope of green grass until May, and unless we are growing flowers inside those do not pop up until May either!! So the only thing we really have to look forward to is the snow melting so we can get on with summer! This is just one example of what it looks like here when the snow does melt, and we are in May…..
